Studio 73 - The Story

The city of Borås is known for textile industry for centuries, this is where we started in 1973 and still have our head office. The village Jesenik, in the northern part of Czech Republic has the strong history of garment manufacturing. That’s why we built our Studio here. This is combining the better of two worlds – Studio73.

Following the river coming down from the High Ash Mountains into the heart of the village you will find our Studio. Entering the two-story building you can instantly feel the engagement of the 100 employees. During the last decade we’ve put our heart and soul in developing the Studio into a top-quality production. Together with our Italian technician we’ve updated every one of the 50 stations in the line of work to be 100% sartorial. Naturally also taking ecological, economical, and social responsibility as a guideline for building the future.

All fabrics and trims we use are certified and produced in Europe. Our workers craftmanship, passion and health are the evidence to our quality, they are of great importance. As a family business we know every employee by name and the value of the work they put into your future garment. We can with certainty say that we can control everything from working conditions and wages, transportations, and the reuse of our waste of fabrics and trims.

The production manager, 45-year-old women, has been running the factory for more than 15 years. Together with her team we are always confident that the hand feel and precision we put into each and every garment, in combination with our true passion for luxurious fabrics and fine tailoring, will be appreciated by You for many years to come.
